She was predeceased by: her parents, William Walter and Mae Carter Hampton; her husband Emmett Owen "Pete" Chandler; and her siblings, William "Billy" Walter Hampton, Jr., J. H. Hampton, David Carter Hampton and Mae Hampton Fulcher.

She is survived by: her children, Bartlett and Eden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
