He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Pierce and Joann Mabe Pierce Curry; and his brother Barry Lee Pierce. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Montgomery (Larry) of Ruffin, NC, Larry N. Pierce II (Carrie) of Jamestown, NC and Alton M. Pierce of Eden, NC; his grandchildren, Greyson Montgomery, Harper Pierce and Hadley Pierce; his niece Kimilee Pierce of Eden; and his aunt Judy Barker of Eden. He is also survived by mother of his sons and she was also his caregiver.
