It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Hodges Price Hampton Hawley (Eden, North Carolina), who passed away on February 22, 2012, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James H. Hampton; her parents, Mark Hannon Hodges and Ruby Alice Boitnott Hodges; her former husbands, Charles B. Price and John B. Hawley; and her siblings, Alvin, James, Jack, Robert Hoges, Georgia Mize, Belva Siemasko, Opal Hornberger, Helen Steward and Lila Ruth Hodges.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mark, Jr., Buddy, Elwood Hodges and Judy Hornberger; her children, Charles B. Price, Jr., Lena Hampton Filchem, Pattie Hampton Schmidt and Terri Hampton Derryberry; her grandchildren, Charles B. Price, III, James H. Price, Sasha Flinchum, Natalie Flinchum, Jena Jackson, Tamara Schmidt, Andrea Schmidt and Caroline Derryberry; and her great grandchildren, Justin H. Price and Mitchell G. Price.
