With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leesona Hamrick Vernon (Eden, North Carolina), who passed away on January 1, 2013 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Hamrick and Evelyn Hamrick Pulliam. She is survived by: her husband James D. Vernon; her daughters, Julia Gouge of Stanley, NC and Sarita Vernon of Eden, NC; her siblings, David Hamrick of Eden, NC, Kay Shumpert of Atlanta, GA and Lena Murphy (Thomas) of Bassett, VA; and also, Jimmy McBride of Eden, NC and Darryl Hodnett of Pelham, NC. She is also survived by two Grandchildren and one great grandchild.
