He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvie Gray Clark and Bessie Gauldin Clark; his son Chadwick Sterling Clark; and his siblings, Nadine Clark Woodson and William Larry Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Crutchfield Clark of Charlotte; his son Lonnie Gray Clark, Jr. (Elisa Dougherty Clark) of Charlotte; and his granddaughters, Cathryn Clark of Virginia, Elisabeth Gray Clark of Charlotte and Kately Grayce Clark of Summerfield, NC..
