She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest M. Carroll; and her siblings, Norris Laprade, M. J. Laprade and Helen L. Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Judy and Vicki; and her cousins, Alice, Barney, Lou, Geneva, Lib and Larry. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Central Christian Church; 233 E. Stadium Drive; Eden, NC 27288.
