She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Johnson and Margaret Lyle Johnson; her former husband Winfred "Ike" Randall Dyer; and her brothers, Dan Johnson and Jim Johnson.
She is survived by: her spouse Marine (Ike Dyer); her granddaughters, Sally Cody (Mark) of Eden and Debbie Overby (Joe) of Salisbury, NC; her great grandchildren, Justin Mize (Brooke), Margaret Lemons (Matt), Ashley Smith (Chuck), Kary Evans, Jon-Marc Overby and Daniel Overby (Brandi); and her parents-in-law, Gideon Mize, Gwyneth, Solomon, Norah, Coen Overby, Ethan, Ella Evans, Landon Lemons, Aubree and Tanner Brown (Meghan Willard).
The family would like to thank Kim Carty for her love and care of "Lil Nana" The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to charities close to her heart which were the Eden Salvation Army and the Leukemia Research at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
