It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Joshua Norris (Eden, North Carolina), born in Tabor City, North Carolina, who passed away on February 15, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton P. Norris and Alice Neely Norris; and his sister Iris Holliman. He is survived by: his wife Linda Wilson Norris; his children, Tammy Norris Davis of Lexington, Cynthia Denise Edwards (Terry) of Stoneville and James Michael Duggins of Trinity; and his siblings, Michael Norris of Tabor City, Wayne Norris of Thomasville, Argie Jones of Trinity, Sara Jean Lane of Thomasville, Mary Alice Norris of Tabor City and Nizie Suggs of Tabor City. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
