He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Johnston of Washington and Katherine Fain Johnston; and his brother Henry O'neil Johnston, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Hundley (Ricky) of Martinsville, VA and Julia Dollarhite (Kevin) of Stuart, VA; his grandchildren, Kimberly H. Clark of Ridgeway, VA, Mary Beth Morrison of Stuart, VA, Christopher B. Ramey of Ridgeway, VA and Logan C. Ramey; and his brother Derwood Johnston of Richmond, VA.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
