With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Neal Vestal (Eden, North Carolina), who passed away on June 11, 2011. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernard Neal Vestal and Bessie Vestal Fargis; his sister Garneda Bennett; and his stepfather William Fargis. He is survived by: his wife Alma Meeks Vestal; his children, James N. Vestal, Jr. of Raleigh, NC, Jeffrey V. Vestal (Shirley) of Greensboro, NC and Elizabeth V. McGalliard (Robert) of Jamestown, NC; his grandchildren, Clare, Hannah Vestal of Raleigh, NC, Jacob Vestal of Durham, NC, Elizabeth Vestal of Greensboro, NC, Aaron and Shelby McGalliard of Jamestown, NC; and his sister Geneva Moore of Aiken, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
