It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patsy James (Eden, North Carolina), who passed away on September 21, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Martin and Lillie Mae Barham Rutledge; her husband Edward Vercil James; and her siblings, Frankie Rutledge, Russell Rutledge, Jean R. Carter, Linda R. Gilley and Gail R. Powell.
She is survived by: her sisters, Maxine R. Hudson of Eden, Carolyn R. Roberson of Eden and Dixie R. Edwards of Asheville; her siblings-in-law, Donald Powell of Reidsville, Doris A. Rutledge of Amhurst, VA and Norma J. Rutledge of Eden; her grandchildren, Mark S. James of Ruffin, Myra H. James of Ruffin and Kami S. James of Ruffin; and her son Steve James.
