With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearl Chaney Hughes of Eden, North Carolina, born in Franklin, Virginia, who passed away on October 23, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Joseph and Frances Hall Chaney; her siblings, Grady Chaney of Eden, Curtis Chaney (Doc) of Eden, Lumas Chaney of Eden, Thelma Lemons of Eden, Lera Swinney of Eden, Cora Scott of Eden, Avis Wiles of Eden and Ruby Hutcherson; and her son-in-law Bobby Christley.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Christley of Eden and Kenny Hughes of Decatur, TX. She is also survived by four grandchildren, ten great-grand children.
