He is survived by: his wife Joan Moton; his children, Ray Dalton of Eden, NC and Wendy M. Thompson (Brian) of Dallas, TX; and his niece Patricia M. Scales. He is also survived by 3 nephews, 8 nieces, 24 great nieces and nephews, 19 great, great nieces and nephews, 1 great, great, great niece and a host of other relatives and friends.
