He is survived by: his wife Vicki Longhofer Copeland; his sons, Richard Copeland, Thomas Copeland (Jeanmarie), Will Copeland, Scott Jackson (Mary) and Todd Jackson; his grandchildren, Emily Copeland, Ian Jackson, Lillian and Chloe Taylor; and his siblings, C. H. Pete Copeland, Anne Patterson, Faye Zoellner, Sandra Thoelke and Cindy Trudeau. He is also survived by ten nieces, and seven nephews.
