Rivers Prewette Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rivers Prewette (Eden, North Carolina), who passed away on August 16, 2013 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Joseph and Pearl Jones Slaydon; and her daughter Juanita G. Kirkman. She is survived by: her husband Alfred D. "Buck" Prewette; her children, Barbara "Dale" Gregory of North Haverhill, NH, DeLena Kirkman Davis of Eden and Randall Wayne Stophel (Cathy) of Ruffin; and her siblings, Robert Lee Slaydon (Ann) of Eden, Joseph "Pete" Slaydon (Vivian) of Eden and Florine Hammock of Eden. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
