He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W. Randle and Willetta Barrentine Randle; and his brother Joseph W. Randle, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jean Seligman Randle; his daughters, Deborah Lewis (Bob) of Eden, Barbara Humphries (James) of Fayetteville and Brenda Summerlin (Todd) of Stoneville; his grandchildren, Amanda Rorrer, Randy Shea, Matthew Humphries, Clint and Ali Summerlin; his great grandchildren, Lydia Rorrer and Michael Shea; and his sister-in-law Mary Ruth Randle of North Wilkesboro.
