He is survived by: his children, Richard Todd Montgomery (Rita) of Cascade, VA, Gregory L. Montgomery and Leigh Paige King of Eden; his siblings, Walter J. Montgomery (Joan) of Eden, Carol M. Sharp (Gene) of Eden and Margaret M. Shockley (Joe Hill) of Eden; his brothers-in-law, Thomas E. Stowe of Eden and Pete Grogan of Reidsville; his grandchildren, Meghan, Samuel and Layla; and also Sharon Mitchell.
