He was predeceased by: his father Leonard Thomas Collins; his son Samuel Walter Collins; and his siblings, Terry Jordan, Teresa Jordan Davis and Tonya Collins.
He is survived by: his mother Vera Elizabeth Vernon of Lynchburg, VA; his wife Myrtle Case Collins; his sons, Barry Case Collins of Eden and Shawn Thomas Collins of Greensboro, NC; and his brothers, Tommy Jordan of Lynchburg, VA and Timmy Jordan of Lynchburg, VA. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
