With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Parker Bishopric (Eden, North Carolina), born in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, who passed away on October 15, 2010. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eugene LeRoy Parker and Amy Alice Hoge Parker; her former spouse Welsford Farrell Bishopric; her husband Robert V. Sims; her brother Gene; her sister-in-law Jane Parker of Plainfield, N. J.; her children, Alice Bishopric (Peter Stulginskis) of Hickory, Barbara Bishopric McNinch (Jerry) of Charlotte and Mark Bishopric (Mary Hill) of Eden; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Scott Bishopric, Susan Dickie, Sarah Dickie Frye (Brooks), Brad and Jeff McNinch; her cousin Libby C. Moose; and her stepchildren, Melissa Sims Hairston and William H. Sims. She was also cherished by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Leaksville United Methodist Church Endowment Fund, the Friends of the Rockingham County Library (Eden Library) or the Hospice of Rockingham County.
