She was predeceased by: her parents, Kelsie Hairston and Mae Ellen Hairston; her husband Samuel Keen; her siblings, Dewey Hairston and Lillian McRae; and her sons, Samuel Keith and Dudley Wayne.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Johnson (Michael), Annette Cannon (Howard) and Anthony Keen; her grandchildren, John, Courtney, Lauren, Ashley, Salita, Toni, Samuel and Aliyah; her great grandchildren, Brae, Siniyah, Cameron and DJ; and her siblings, Audrey Craft, Alma Neal of Eden, NC, Lawrence Golden (Shelley), Warren Hairston (Sherri) and Alvin Hairston (Roxetta). She is also survived by children, grandchildren.
