He was predeceased by: his parents, Garris Leon Edwards and Leo Frances Bateman; and his sister Brenda Ewards Barrow. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Rutledge Edwards; his daughter Tracey Edwards Garber (Scott) of Candler, NC; his grandson Jackson Wren Garber; and his nieces, Page Barrow of Rock Hill, SC, Amy Lewis of Eden and Jamie Holliman of West Virginia.
