He is survived by: his cousin Ralph Harvey; his aunt Joanne; his fiancé Mechelle; his children, Jessica Carter of Eden and Pete Carter of Eden; his mother Faye Wilson Carter of Eden; his stepchildren, Mellonie Irvine of Eden, Timmy Hooker of Eden, Ryan Hooker of Eden and Dustin Hooker of Eden; his grandchildren, David, Christopher Mundy, Cassius, Charlotte Carter and Cory Hooker; the mother of his children Carol H. Carter of Eden; and his close friends, Shane Manuel, William Adkins, Sammy Vernon, Josh Patterson and Dennis Moore. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren.
