He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter N. Cook and Daisy Gilbert Cook; and his siblings, Lawrence Cook, Olivia Aheron and Loretta Washburn.
He is survived by: his wife Marie DeHart Cook; his children, Walter "Wally" H. Cook, Jr. (Karen) of Collinsville and Toni C. Troxler (Rod) of Browns Summit; his brothers, Elon Cook (Becky) of Fayetteville and Donald Cook (Ann) of Eden; his granddaughters, Jody Waters (John), Christy Bruner (Michael), Meaghan Smith, Lindsi Troxler (Wade Forte), Caitlin Troxler (Jay Smith) and Aimee Henderson (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Emily, Caleb, Peyton, Pace and Ella Jane.
