He is survived by: his wife Margaret May Cook Rorrer; his sons, James Brewster Rorrer (Peggy Rorrer) of Eden and Larry Wade Rorrer (Kristie Rorrer) of Eden; his grandchildren, Tammy Rorrer Long (Ricky Long) of Eden, Jamie Rorrer (Jamie Rorrer) of Kernersville, NC and Kim Rorrer Garrett (Mark Garrett) of Eden; his stepgranddaughter Cindy Bibee (Rocky Bibee) of Eden; his great grandchildren, Rick, Dustin Long, Anna, Aiden Rorrer, Colby and Kyndall Garrett; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kristin Richardson and Isaac Bibee; and his friend James Glidden.
