William Paul Shafer Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Paul Shafer Sr. (Eden, North Carolina), born in Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on January 11, 2013 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Paul Shafer Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Russell Shafer and Gladys Bowers Shafer; his wife Griffin Shafer; and his siblings, Betty Switzer, Phyllis "Sis", Bob Shafer of WVa and Tom Shafer of WVa.
He is survived by : his children, William "Billy" Shafer, Jr. (Jennifer) of Eden and Cindy White (Johnny) of Stoneville; his sisters, Poke Myers (Johnny) of Tunnelton, WV and Nancy McDonald; his grandchildren, William "Sonny" Shafer, III (Stephanie) of Eden, Meredith Rodrigues (Danny) of Summerfield and Angela White of Raleigh; and his great grandchildren, Ryne, Callie, Claire and Reese Rodrigues. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
