He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bransford and Ruby Rebecca Jones Johnson; and his wife Joyce Boatwright Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Bill Johnson (Mary) of Norwood, Tommy Johnson of Eden, Joy Conner (George) of Eden and Jennifer Boyte (Darrell) of Eden; and his grandchildren, Kendall Priest of Winston-Salem, Eric Johnson of Greensboro, Caitlyn Boyte of Winston-Salem, Hunter Boyte of Eden, Jenny Conner of Greensboro and Megan Conner of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
