It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Ammons Winslow (Edenton, North Carolina), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on February 22, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Cicero Ammons and Lucille McCorkle Ammons; and her sister Carol Pettus. She is survived by: her husband J. Calvin Winslow, Jr.; her daughters, Maria Winslow of Rocky Mount and Bethany Winslow Hoomani (Chris) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Zoe Czeiszperger Winslow, Jaxson Winslow Smith and Tucker Jameson Smith; and her nephew Jerry Pettus, Jr. of South Carolina.
