She is survived by: her children, Vickie Williams (John) of Edenton and John Jason Ayers of Edenton; her stepson William "Bill" Richardson (Sherry Jean) of Powells Point; her siblings, Ellen Jones (Wayland) of Colerain, Sue Britt of Edenton, Nita Jernigan of Washington, Claude Talmadge Barnette (Flora) of Pembroke and Melvin Wisely Barnette of Chocowinity; her grandchildren, Chris Williams (Heather), Dana Byrum (Tony) and Jenna Hebert (David); and her great grandchildren, Hunter, Tucker, Evan and Heath.
