He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy Wright Lane; his children, Debbie Harris of Hertford, Wanda Burlamachi of Chesapeake, VA, Sheila Shelton (Jimmy) of Belvidere, Barbara Smith (Keith) of Nashville and Joseph Lane (Edna) of Charlotte; and his brother Jimmy Lane of Belvidere.
