She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Gerard Lavoie and Georgianna Desrosiers Lavoie; her grandparents, Wilfred and Mederise Desrosiers; her husband Gilbert H. Johnson; her daughter-in-law Claudia Harlow Johnson; her granddaughter Kika Johnson; her half-brother Alfred Lavoie; and her siblings-in-law, Ethel White Lavoie, Dorothy Cooke Lavoie and John Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Johnson of Norfolk, VA and Debra Johnson; her grandsons, Kristian Tanner and Cort Johnson; her great grandchildren, Annabella and Elijah Johnson; her brother Leo Lavoie; her half-sisters, Alice Wise (Bob) and Madeleine Mitchell; and her close friend Joan Nizborski. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the current conditions and restrictions associated with the Coronavirus, a memorial service is being planned for a later date.
