He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Owens (Jimmy) of Edenton and Samantha Kuykendall (Michael Swanner) of Durham; his siblings, Betty Roseberry of Pasadena, MD and Jack Kuykendall of Moorefield; and his grandsons, Steven Owens (Blare Firth) and Austin Owens.
