She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis E. Francis and Lillie Mae Goodwin Francis; her former husbands, Eugene Philip Robey and Gerald Smith; her sons, Thomas Philip Robey, Marvin Lynn Robey and Bruce Edward Robey; and her siblings, Margaret White, Thomas, L. A. "Gus" and Robert Francis.
She is survived by: her husband Phil; her children, Donald L. Robey (Martha) of Lexington, VA and Carol Spencer (Jamie) of Virginia Beach; her sister Lillie Mae Stroud of Edenton; her grandchildren, Nikki Robey Kitchen (Bill), Philip Breckinbridge Robey (Amanda), Cortney Robey Railsback (Nathan) and Amy Johnson Tappen (Jim); and her great grandchildren, Zack, Ethan Kitchen, Madelyn and Vivienne Robey.
With the restrictions and precautions associated with Covid-19, no formal visitation is being held, however friends may visit with the family at the gravesite immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
