Colon Philip Butler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2021, at the age of 91, Colon Philip Butler (Edenton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George William and Lula Simpson Butler. He is survived by: his siblings, Beatrice Barclift, Verna Butler, June Reid, Lula Butler, Blanche Campen, Mattie Butler, Nellie Lewis, Wayland, Hudson, George and Fenton Butler; his wife Ada Nixon Butler; his children, Glenn Philip Butler, Cynthia Williams (Carlos) and Debra Sebastian (Steve); his grandchildren, Philip Whittaker, Ryan Whittaker and Storm Sebastian; and his great grandchildren, Colby, Olivia and A. J. Whittaker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a small private service for his wife, children, and grandchildren will be held in Rocky Hock Baptist Church on Thursday.
