It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis Earl Layton (Edenton, North Carolina), who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Harrell Layton, Sr.; his brothers, Elbert and Wade Layton; and his stepfather Worth H. Hare, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Sallie Overton Layton Hare of Edenton; his daughter Brandy Ferrell (John); his grandchildren, Lacey of Elizabeth City and Sayward Layton of Gatesville; his brothers, R. H. Layton, Jr. (Tracy) of Edenton and Brent Layton (Linda) of Edenton; his close friend Joan Pierce Evans; and also, Catherine Harrell (Kevin), Calvin and Ella Harrell. He is also survived by niece and six nephews.
