She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Ray and Ella Harrell Wilson; her husband Wilbert Lee Harris; her siblings, Raymond Wilson and Frances Moore; her former husband Adam D. White; and her foster son William "Bill" Lamb (Dale).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara White Clark (Dale) of Chocowinity, Dorothy Celeste Murphy (Raymond) of Kinston, Beverly Harris Umphlett (Danny) of Elizabeth City and Terry Harvey "A. D."; her siblings, Mildred Boyce (late Elton), Marguerite Parrish (late Billy), Mable Butt (Ronald), Carolyn Forehand (Carl), Marie Baker (late Melvin) and Herbert Earl Wilson, Sr. (Mary); and her foster son Laurie "Bill" Rentrop (Victoria). She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, no formal visitation is being held, however friends may visit with the family at the graveside immediately following the service. Masks are suggested and social distancing measures should be followed.
