It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Burnice Penny of Edenton, North Carolina, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on October 9, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnice Lee and Shirley Rose Hardee Penny. He is survived by: his daughter Stacy Penny Bigham (Scott); his grandchildren, Madelyn Sarah and Emmitt Scott Bigham of Apex; Pat Cobb of Martinsville, VA and Brenda Richardson of New Bern.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, no formal visitation is planned; however friends are invited to visit with the family at the gravesite following services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Edenton Baptist Church, 200 South Granville Street, Edenton, NC 27932.
