We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2020, at the age of 65, Emmett Elliott Winborne Sr. (Edenton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hutchins "Hutch" Winborne and Hurley Bunch Winborne; and his brother Johnny Winborne. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Taylor Winborne; his children, Stacey Winborne Layden of Edenton, Sarah Winborne Grandy (Josh) of Elizabeth City and E. Elliott Winborne, Jr. of Edenton; his brother Bobby Winborne of Edenton; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Carley Layden, Morgan Winborne, Johnny, Payden, Shelby Grandy and Joshua Grandy, Jr..
