She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Harvey and Sabrah Forehand Eason; her husband William David Ober; and her siblings, Viola Miller, Mae Rountree, Erma Byrum, Edna Earle Eason, Clarenza Eason, Tom, Norman, Carey and Joe Eason.
She is survived by: her children, Carol O. Bland (Paul) of Newport, Kim O. Ullom (Billy) of Edenton, Ginger O. Little of Watauga, TX and Ivan Ober (Lynn) of Edenton; her grandchildren, Christy, Bradley Ober, Christina Bland, Amie Furr, Laura, Jacob, Benjamin Ullom, Josh, Andrew and Rachel Little; and her great grandchildren, Johnathan, Coby, Stephen, David, Abigail and Jonah.
