It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Haurice Ray Toppin (Edenton, North Carolina), who passed away on February 13, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolan B. Toppin and Jennie Parker Toppin; and his siblings, Lillie Mae Beaman, Hazel Spruill, Troy, Maurice, Wilford, Guy, Garland and Durwood Toppin.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Mongold Toppin; his children, Regina Ray Toppin Anderson (Pete) of Iva, SC and Bruce Edward Toppin (Melinda) of Hanahan, SC; his siblings, Shirley Kirby of Tyner, Earl Toppin of Wilmington and Larry Toppin of Crystal Springs, Miss; and his grandchildren, Kristine, Tradd, Natalie and Troy. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
