She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lee and Effie Miller Smith; her children, Francis Doyle "Cisco" O'Neal and Nancy O'Neal Massey; and her siblings, Harry Lee Smith, Jr., Clara Meade Smith Burke and Louise Smith.

She is survived by: her daughter Amy Smith O'Neal of Plymouth. She is also survived by four nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
