She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Carlton and Allene Blanchard Privott; her husband Harold Gene Renner; her siblings, Brenda Barclift, Ray, Fahey, Winborne and Lynn Privott; and her son-in-law David Wesley Sampson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Sampson of Hobbsville and Sherlynne Baker (Dennis) of Washington, NC; her grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley Sampson, Melissa and Jennifer Baker; her brother-in-law Reid Barclift of Elizabeth City; and her niece Amy Barclift of Hertford.
