She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmen Pound and John Crues Bell; her husband Paul; her son Paul Townsend Jr.; and her brothers, John and Benjamin Bell.

She is survived by: her close friends, Paris, Spain and Noank; her children, Elizabeth Townsend, Nancy Townsend, Julia Townsend and Robert Townsend; her son-in-law Lincoln Adams; her stepgrandchildren, Hayley and Kale Adams; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Olivia Brillard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
