He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Willis and Louise Thach Harrell; his son Jason Douglas Harrell; and his brother Alvin Harrell. He is survived by: his wife Aundra Spear Harrell; his children, Sherie H. Ashley (Robert) of Edenton and Michael R. Harrell of Edenton; his siblings, Mary Louise Phelps of Edenton, Connie Harrell of Edenton, Ronnie Harrell of Edenton and Ray Harrell of Pensacola, FL; and his grandsons, Matthew, Tyler Ashley and Timmy Harrell.
With the resurgence of the Covid-19 Virus in the area, and its ongoing effects on some family members, masks are required at the service.
