Madge Lassiter Whitehurst Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2020, at the age of 87, Madge Lassiter Whitehurst (Edenton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jackson Lassiter and Dora Smith Lassiter; her husband Dewey Ralston Whitehurst; and her siblings, Faye Twiddy, Daphney Lassiter and Gerald Lassiter.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly W. Hoggard (Danny) of Windsor and William Gregory Whitehurst (Debbie) of Tyner; her sister Edna Harrell of Edenton; her grandchildren, Kevin Hoggard (Shannon), Shelley Rawls (Kelvin), Haley Perkins (Matt) and Olivia Bass (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Jenna Rawls, Jackson Rawls, Karsyn Perkins, Brayden Bass and Maelyn Perkins.
