She was predeceased by: her parents, William Augustus Hathaway and Martha Emma Blount Hathaway; and her brother-in-law William. She is survived by: her spouse Richard; her daughters, Rena Sawyer and Karen Sawyer; her grandson Jourden Sawyer of Wake Forest, NC.; and her siblings, William (Evelyn), John, Joseph (Carolyn), Daisy (William), Yvonne (Leslie), Barbara (Ervin), Lynethe Purvis, Arynethe (Quintel), Martha (Lloyd), Emma (Blass), Frances and Cherry (Johnnie). She is also survived by nieces, nephews cousins and other family members and friends.
