It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Louise Holt Shaw (Edenton, North Carolina), who passed away on September 23, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Shaw of Edenton; her siblings, Jean Parnell of Fayetteville and Charles Holt of Star, NC; and her daughter Louise Conger of Anson, TX. She is survived by: her sister Elizabeth Ann Smith of Denver, NC; and her sons, Holt Shaw (Loretta) of Edenton, Charles Shaw (Pat) of Columbia, SC and Jim Shaw (Jane) of Deep Gap, NC. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
