He was predeceased by: his parent Eugene Melvin; his siblings, James Wallace Baker, Lessie Lassiter Fuller and William Edward Lassiter; and his sister-in-law Frances W. Moore.
He is survived by: his parent Ida Mae Brabble Baker; his wife Marie Wilson Baker; his children, Stacey Baker Banks of Edenton and Eugene Baker (Steve Casper) of Belvidere; his grandchildren, Sophie Banks and Bailey Banks; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Harris of Edenton, Mildred Boyce of Edenton, Carolyn Forehand of Edenton, Marguerite Parrish of Owens Burrough, KY, Mabel Butt of Suffolk, VA and Herbert Wilson of Edenton.
