He is survived by: his mother Sylvia W. Morgan of Edenton; his daughter Ashley C. Horne (Chris); his grandsons, Roger John, Henry Michael and Clyde Lazarus Horne; his stepsons, J. R. Quidley and Nelson Waterfield; and his brother William Carl "Billy" Copeland.
