She was predeceased by: her husband William W. Perry; and her siblings, Haywood Chappell, Susan Chappell, Helen Sumner and William Penn Chappell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine Perry of Greenville, Mary Ervin (Mike) of Greenville and Robin Parkin (Tom) of Charlottesville, VA; her grandchildren, Mark Pickler, Greg Pickler, Dawn Batten of Jacksonville, FL, Grace Smith of Myrtle Beach, SC, Karen Murphy of Ayden, NC, Kirk Katzburg of New York City and Wesley Parkin of Winterville, NC; and her great grandchildren, Jamie Langston, Bryan Pickler, Justin Robbins, Jordan Murphy and Chloe Katzburg.
The family would also like to thank the wonderful and caring staff of Vidant Palliative & Hospice Care at Vidant Medical Center. . In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
