He is survived by: his parent Sarah Hollowell Waff of Edenton; his wife Ginny Gardner Waff; his children, Stephanie Waff Powell of Edenton and Cameron Paul Waff; his stepson William Gardner Culpepper of Raleigh; his sister Deborah Sue Waff of Edenton; and also, Sarah Ann Powell of Edenton and Jeffrey Tayloe Powell, Jr. of Edenton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
